Executive Performance for Business Owners
The capacity of the leader affects the capacity of the company. I’m building more capable — stronger, clearer, more disciplined and more intentional about the next decade.
The operator is an asset too
Better isn’t about becoming younger. It’s about becoming more capable.
For years, I measured improvement mostly through businesses — revenue, systems, people, acquisitions and value. I’m paying much closer attention to the operator now because leadership capacity eventually shows up in business performance.
The goal is not to turn business owners into athletes. It is to become a stronger executive, partner, father and person — and protect the strength, energy and clarity required to lead well for the next decade.
The standard
“Every decision either builds the man you want to become or strengthens the habits you’re trying to leave behind.”
That applies to the food, the workout, the drink, the meeting, the difficult conversation, the business decision and the way you use the next hour.
What I’m working on
Performance without pretending.
Train for the next decade.
Muscle, mobility, consistency and building a body that lasts.
Eat for performance.
Protein, sensible choices and nutrition that supports strength, energy and body composition.
Protect the ability to show up.
Sleep, recovery, alcohol choices, routines and attention.
Make the better decision easier to repeat.
Structure, accountability and simple systems that keep progress visible.
